Our Lexan® labels (polycarbonate) are available in 10-mil and 5-mil thickness. Lexan® labels are most commonly used for Control Panels, Nameplates, Overlays, and Prototype labels. Use to cover membrane switches to give your product a professional finished look.

Continuous exposure to ultra-violet light may cause discoloration. Lexan® labels are not recommended for outdoor applications. We recommend our Super-Tough Polyester for extreme outdoor exposure as a Lexan® label substitute. We often call our Super-Tough the outdoor Lexan®.
10-mil Lexan® labels are manufactured by printing subsurface (printed on back side with reverse image) on 10-mil Lexan® then laminating with one of our Adhesives. The result is an extremely durable and attractive label where the printing is protected by the full 10-mils of Lexan®, while the velvet surface “hides” minor surface imperfections which helps maintain a “new” appearance over a long time. 10-mil Lexan® labels are also available without adhesive for applications such as Keyboard Overlays if required.
5-mil Lexan® labels are constructed by printing on any of our 2-mil Polyesters then laminating with our 5-mil Lexan® Laminate. The result is an extremely durable and attractive label where the printing is protected by the full 5-mils of Lexan®, while the velvet surface “hides” minor surface imperfections which helps maintain a “new” appearance over a long time. All 5-mil Lexan® labels are supplied with our standard, Hi-Bond adhesive that was specifically formulated to provide superior bonding to powder-coat paint, low surface energy plastics and other hard-to-stick surfaces.
OPTIONS
Both 10-mil Lexan® and 5-mil Lexan® labels will accept any of our printing Colors, and Barcodes, Serial Numbers, and Changeable Data information can be automatically included on any label. These labels can also be produced with ANY exterior shape, with ANY size and shape of internal cutouts, and with ANY size and shape of clear window areas for displays or indicator lights.
